Travel reminder by Malaysia Airlines
Sepang 28 June 2016 - Malaysia Airlines wishes to remind passengers to arrive early at KL International Airport (KLIA) during the festive season to avoid long queues during check-in. Passengers are encouraged to check-in 48-hours prior to their flight via MHweb on www.malaysiaairlines.com, MHmobile on flymas.mobi and kiosk check-in facilities available at the airport. Check-in and boarding will close 60 and 20 minutes respectively before departure of a flight.
Due to expected congestion at Immigration counters, the Aerotrains and security check-points, we also strongly advise passengers to allow enough time from check-in to boarding to avoid missing flights. Passengers are also advised to ensure all travel documents are up-to-date. For travel to Sabah and Sarawak, a valid MyKad or MyKid is required.
The national carrier will be providing dedicated counters, B16 and B17, for those requiring special assistance, such as those travelling with children or elderly passengers.
Malaysia Airlines’ passengers are allowed to check-in a maximum of two pieces of baggage on any class of travel, with two pieces of baggage weighing 40kg in total for Business Class and two pieces of baggage weighing 30kg in total for Economy Class. Passengers are to ensure that they do not pack any dangerous goods in their check-in luggage, such as lithium batteries, e-cigarettes and power banks.
For more information, customers can call Malaysia Airlines’ contact centre at 1-300-88-3000 or log on to www.malaysiaairlines.com.
Malaysia Airlines would like to thank all guests for their support and take this opportunity to wish its guests Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin.
